XAHIVE is...

A FREE social media platform that places privacy above everything else.

Focused on providing anonymous communication between people and business within local areas to benefit their lives.

A tool for 3rd party developers to extend their current services through licensing our technology

That said,
XAHIVE does not interact with any of the communication systems you already have on your device.
XAHIVE does not look at, download or interact with your contact lists, friends lists or email lists
XAHIVE does not touch or investigate your phone or text messages.
XAHIVE is a completely separate ecosystem that doesnt want to know about your personal information or device - if you start telling people about yourself that is your choice. We are simply providing you the technology and the freedom to do as you like.

Within XAHIVE you can send private or public messages similar to text messaging - but it is within our own XAHIVE ecosystem.

Private messages are sent from user to user using XN (XA Numbers).

Public messages are sent via broadcast to the local vicinity around you via BUZZ messages.

For both the public and private messaging (Including document transfers), we offer AES encryption - the encryption and decryption is done on your device, which means that you dont have to worry about whether someone is data-mining that private communication - as it is truly private. Nobody can get at it, not even us!

Furthermore, this method of encrypting messages and documents has no single point of failure which means even if hackers get into our servers, they will never be able to get at those documents and messages, because we cant get at them either. The keys are never sent over the internet.

For the non AES encrypted communication (sending messages and files without choosing to encrypt), we still automatically provide the standard encryption schema that everyone else uses which is called "HTTPS" encryption.

HTTPS encryption uses a public and private key system to establish a secure relationship between the server and client - those messages and files are sent securely - but have a single point of failure which is the server. Any system claiming that this is the best thing since sliced bread is not telling you that it has a single point of failure and can be a major security threat as demonstrated by the heart bleed bug.

Furthermore, we were aware of the heartbleed bug long before it was causing issues in the spotlight so we have been using OPENSSL since the beginning. That said, we recommend that you use our encryption for your protected documents and messages.

And always remember to share your encryption keys offline.
